We've been in the metal fabricating business for nearly 30 years.
We were amazed when we tried the GEKKOU.
Drilling is snap: The drill bit goes through the material without forcing it.
The swarf comes off like apple peels without breaking up: This means the bit is cutting really well.
We made a bunch of holes in stainless steel using a 10 mm bit.
When we used the GEKKOU, we were able to drill clean holes without using cutting oil.
Ordinary drill bits stop cutting after two or three times and they have to be sharpened.
But with the GEKKOU we saw almost no wear at all even after drilling around 30 holes.
At our company, ordinary drill bits last no more than 2-3 weeks. But we were able to go for 5 months without sharpening GEKKOU bits.
In terms of how we will use drills in the future, we anticipate that there is going to be an increase in construction of earthquake-resistant buildings.
A lot of work will be done in locations with poor footing, in elevated locations, and awkward positions.
